Last night, my friends and I decided to go out for...playing!We thought about buying new clothes and something else, but one of us suggested that we go to take Maokong Gondola. Thus,we made up our decision to meet at 4 o'clock at the Mucha Zoo Station.
Luckily, today was such a wonderful day with fine weather! Before going to meet them,I went to the Eslite Bookstore for buying some fiction books and killing time.I couldn't help but take my eyes off Nicholas Spark's novels!!!He's written many love stories, adding some interesting plots with memorable characters. It was hard for me to decide which to buy.In the end, I took his "True Believer".
After picking up that novel,I found another reknown book...."Perfume" by Patrick Suskind,a Germen writer. The story is based on 18th century Paris. It's a story of a murderer called Jean Baptiste Grenouille ,who has not scent of his own,but he possesses an incomparable sense of smell. He's good at mixing any ordinary ingredients into perfumes, but his quest to create the "ultimate perfume" lead him to commit a series of brital murders until no woman can feel safe as his final horrifying secret is revealed. (That's the outline of the novel.)
I stayed there for almost 3 hours or so. Oh!!! I must tell you that I saw a really weird woman...I bet she's already been in her late thirties, but she wore the uniform of "Jingmei Girls' High School" with a school bag.Don't you think her strange!? She even wore black eye shadows, which didn't go with her at all,and her eyebrows are so...odd....Sorry,but if you were me,you'll definitely agree with me!
Anyway,I went to other places after leaving the bookstore.
Becasue I felt kinda tired,I just wanted to go to zoo mall waiting for them earlier. Therefore, I went to the bus stop and took the bus 611 later.I took a rest on the way. When I got there,it was about... 3: 25 p.m. Still early,so I went in the McDonald's for...longer rest!XD...I ordered a hamburger and ice cream because I was hungry, having nothing for lunch.
Finally,I met other three classmates at the gate.We had to wait in line to take Maokong Gondola...The building was filled with crowds!!! It took us almost 1.5 hours to wait in line...what's worse, the weather was sooooo ! The only interesting thing Anny and I were doing was observing people in the line.We saw some special couples.ha...OH~! The so-called special means a Taiwanese woman with a foreign guy. We saw...at least 3 couples!!! She told us she's sad when seeing that because she thinks it's hard for her to get close to foreigners.
Well..it's not like that,Anny! You'll find some opportunities!
When we got to the entrance ,it was nearly 5:30 p.m. We had to share a cable car with other three people because there were too many people...but it was okay for us.We were still ourselves! It was a bit terrifying at first, but we started to enjoy the broad scenery little by little. We could see Taipei 101 building and Taipei main station form where we were! It's still scary to look down though!:P
20 minutes later....(or so...I guess) We arrived the destination, Maokong! The wind was blowing hard there,so we all felt kinda cold. We considered where to have dinner.
At first, we planned to have dinner after going back down, but later,we thought that we couldn't leave such beautiful scenery behind,so we just found a nice tea house which provides good view from the top to have dinner.Well...Eating there was not very cheap! What amazed us most was that only when the sun fell below the horizon did we see the great night scenery of Taipei City!!! We even saw the famous Ferris Wheels from far away!cool~~! It was soooo romantic to have dinner there! I ordered beef, others did pork. In such a good atmosphere (with music),we forgot the expensive price of our mealsexcept a ...bug!It kept flying around the small lamp on our table! Anny and I were just afraid that the bug would fall into our plats! Fortunataly,it didn't happen! Basically,we were all satisfied with the dinner!
We took some photos during the stroll after that.Fresh air, spectacular scenes, good friends...all made my day wonderful!Soon after, we had to go back owing to the time.On the way,we saw the most splendid scene tonight! There were thousands of lights in the city which makes Taipei look more attractive!
How I wish I would go there again one day, with someone special.
