There was an international dance competition held in Taipei 小巨蛋 this weekend.I went there with my mom today.We got two tickets for free.Thanks a lots.
There were many dancers from all over the world.Some of them are from Japan,Korea,Malaysia,Austria,Porland,Spain,Sweden,and so on.It's about 18 countries.And the performance was really good.
The competiton started from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.But we just stayed there about 6 hours.Most players are adults,but there are 14 teen-age players or even younger players!They danced really well!And most of them looked thin.I think that's because they practice dancing very often!!They are so marvelous to have this talent at this age.
Those gowns (vestments)they wore are really colorful!haha...Cha-cha,tango,Samba,waltz....Waltz is keeping making circles.Tango is shaking their heards back and forth.haha....That's interesting!I like Latin the most.Their movements are "big"!I mean...bombastic!!
During the competiton,there was three people made a speech for the opening.One man is from Spain,another is from Japan,the other is from Taiwan.HAHA....That Japanese spoke English with a strange accent.So I could hardly understand what he said.(Two of them spoke English,foreign ones.)
And there were many Japanese audiences who like cheering for their players.They were really noisy...I don't mean to offend them,but...they were so.
Anyway,it's really happy for me to see so many dancers from so many countries in a day!!!
